January 1, 2008

Jordan Rodney, Barrister and Solicitor departs the corporate world.

2008 - 2013

Jordan Rodney establishes a successful HR Consulting Firm, while continuing to serve his legal clients as a sole practitioner. The firm was located in a heritage home at 39 Centre Street in Old Thornhill.

October 15, 2013

Miriam Anbar joins the law firm as its first employee in the role of an Associate.

January 1, 2014

Rodney Employment Law is officially launched

2014 to 2017

Rodney Employment Law grows significantly and hires on another Associate along with administrative staff, summer students, coordinators and marketing specialists.

August 1, 2018

Rodney Employment Law expands to its current location at 1 West Pearce, Suite 308 in Richmond Hill.

Early 2019

Rodney Employment Law grows again and another lawyer and paralegal join the team.

2020

COVID-19 changes the world and Rodney Employment Law adapts overnight to meet and exceed its clients’ needs; Miriam Anbar is promoted to Partner at Rodney Employment Law; a new Associate joins the team.

January 2021

Rodney Employment Law welcomes the New Year in anticipation for further growth and success for the firm and its clients!

  Losing my job was a devastating experience. After almost 20 years with the company, my colleagues were like family and my work was a big part of my life. My termination was all the more upsetting as I felt that the settlement I was offered did not reflect my commitment to the company or my years of service.
